Training for Families Count volunteers will be Fri-Sat, Jan. 18th – 19th, at Hope Chapel.

(FC is a ministry that provides mentoring and parenting classes to parents who have had their children removed by the state due to abuse or neglect.)  Training sessions will include overviews of the Families Count program and the child welfare system, understanding trauma in families, testimonies of addiction and recovery, cross-cultural family ministry, a session with county judges, and wisdom / best practices for ministering to families in crisis.  Training is mandatory for FC mentors and teachers, but all are invited.
