Run for Foster Care Awareness All May Long (virtually) and Support Fostering Hope!

This May, join us for the 5 Needs of Foster Care 5K – a virtual race to raise awareness and critical funds for Fostering Hope!

Here’s how you can participate:

1. Register: Sign up now on Active.com for just $25 (includes a race shirt!).
2. Run or Walk Anywhere: Lace up your shoes and complete a 5K distance anytime throughout May (Foster Care Awareness Month!). You can run outside, on a treadmill, or create your own course.
3. Share Your Journey (and Win!): On May 1st, Fostering Hope will post on our Instagram page. Comment on that post with a picture of yourself participating in the race and your time using any running app! We’ll have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies for the race winners!

By joining the race, you’re directly supporting Fostering Hope, a non-profit that addresses the 5 critical needs of foster care: family preservation, foster care placements, adoption, volunteer support, and aid for aged-out youth. 100% of proceeds will go towards helping these families and creating a brighter future for children in foster care.
