SUMMARY:Trauma Competent Caregiver Training
DESCRIPTION:We will lead a deep dive with our friends from The Fostering Collective in Tyler\, Texas! Join us as we learn about how trauma affects the brain\, body and belief system of a child and how\, as caregivers\, can bring hope and healing to the children we care for. \nThis 2 day training will equip parents\, teachers\, and other professionals to: understand the impact of trauma\, especially interpersonal trauma; recognize behaviors coming from trauma; how to respond to big emotions and big behaviors in a trauma-informed way; and how to support children with a strength-based understanding of their story and connections.
