DESCRIPTION:About this event\n\n\n\n\nCentral Texas foster care\, adoptive\, and kinship communities\, Welcome Home! \nHome should evoke the most peaceful\, loving emotions. And yet for so many of us\, it does not. How do we change this? How do we create an environment that is joy-filled and restful? How can we be welcoming in the midst of chaos? And how do we help others create this same kind of environment? \nA Future + A Hope Conference 2023 is all about creating spaces for our children – temporary or permanent\, that welcome them home. \nBring a friend\, spouse\, or co-worker and save on ticket costs! \nTicket cost: $30- Single adult ticket/ $50- 2 adult tickets \nChildcare is available at no additional cost. These spaces are limited and fill up very quickly. Childcare registration will close on February 13\, 2023 or until we reach capacity. \nBeverages\, snacks\, and lunch are provided. \n**For those experiencing economic hardship please contact us at info@iamfosteringhope.org for scholarship opportunities. \n*No refunds on registration are offered.

DESCRIPTION:A Future and A Hope Conference is an adoption and foster conference that has been a part of the Austin community for over a decade.  Learn about foster care\, adoption\, and trauma-informed care at AFAH 2022. \nThere will be something for everyone: sessions for exploring foster care and adoption\, for post-adoptive families\, kinship caregivers\, and sessions for those who care about the social issues in our community. Please join us as we pull up A Seat at the Kid’s Table and learn about building connections with our children and people in our communities. \nWe are excited to celebrate being back in person by having a special kick-off event on Friday night! \nFriday night special event: February 25\, 2022 6:00 pm- 9:00 pm\nSaturday conference: February 26\, 2022 9:00 am- 3:30 pm
